Welcome to Frethey House

Frethey House is a welcoming care home, in a delightful rural location just to the west of Taunton. Our experienced teams offer residential, nursing and dementia care on a permanent and respite basis.

Set in a beautiful Victorian building, Frethey House has been skilfully converted into a safe care environment, whilst maintaining its period features. Residents can enjoy many quality facilities including cosy lounges, an activity room and a hair salon. Each bedroom is tastefully decorated, and some have en-suite facilities.

From the home and terrace you can enjoy stunning views over the surrounding countryside. There are two acres of rolling gardens, and green-fingered residents are welcome to take part in a spot of gardening. Our dedicated activities team make the most of the homes Somerset location, organising a wide range of engaging activities, trips and outings.

As the Home Manager at Frethey House Nursing and Residential Home in Bishops Hull in Taunton, I believe that our residents' should receive the highest quality of care possible. I and the team endeavour to always maintain this high quality of care and we also like to make every day memorable for each resident.
