Our colleagues receive the latest in dementia care training and we take pride in being innovative and empathic with residents, helping them to find new ways to communicate and express themselves or tap into memories. We also have a Tovertafel, or ‘magic table’ which is designed for people with dementia. Its calming effects have led to positive changes for a number of residents, including reducing medication and anxiety.

I love walking through Hollins Park at the beginning of the day, seeing colleagues and having a chat, and getting the day off to a good start. I enjoy catching up with residents during the day, talking to them and finding out what they’ve been up to.Tracy NorburyHome Manager
