Our ‘Outstanding’-rated care home in Stansted, Essex delivers round-the-clock nursing care and expert dementia and residential care for up to 60 older people, as well as sensitive and compassionate end of life care.
Mountfitchet House has two floors and is divided into four suites that create a ‘home within a home’. This design helps residents who are living with dementia to feel calm and secure. Each suite has its own beautifully furnished lounge, bistro-style dining room and set of bedrooms, all of which are individually styled and have en-suite facilities.
The skilled and dedicated team at Mountfitchet House get to know each resident as an individual. We tailor all aspects of their care and lifestyle to their unique needs and tastes. Every member of our team has undergone specialist dementia training to understand what it’s like to live with dementia and how best to comfort someone who has dementia.

Join us at Mountfitchet House, to enjoy a 'Carnival garden party'. This will include a range of activities such as face painting, photo booth, tombola and carnival games.
