Highbury New Park home has received the highest possible rating of “Excellent” from the independent regulator, the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
The CQC undertook an unannounced visit to monitor standards of personal care, as well as social activities provided and the performance of staff and management. They described us as having “maintained excellent outcomes for people who use the service”. The inspector spoke to lots of residents and their families and friends and the report quotes one family member who said “my family and my mother have nothing but praise for the way the home is running.”
Siew Batten, Highbury New Park home manager said: “I am so thrilled that we’ve been rated “excellent” – it is a real tribute to the staff who work here, who are so committed to caring for our residents and helping them to lead fulfilling lives.”
