On Friday 20th April, from 11am-3pm, Highbury New Park has organised a royal-inspired party to commemorate the Queen’s 92nd birthday, and to celebrate the open day.
With homemade crowns at the ready, entertainment will include ‘Mattie the Clown’ and karaoke, as well as a ‘best decorated crown’ competition. Guests will be able to enjoy a delicious fish and chips lunch, as well as traditional afternoon tea and a chocolate fondue.
Lia Smochina, home manager at Highbury New Park, said: “Care Home Open Day is about connecting people and enriching the lives of residents by building lasting relationships with the local community that spans the generations. We cannot wait to open our doors to showcase everything Highbury New Park has to offer.”
Visitors to the Care Home Open Day event will also be able to pick up their copy of Care UK’s guide, A helping hand.
