Welcome to Samuel House

Samuel House is a purpose-built care home in Heanor. Our experienced teams offer residential and dementia care on a permanent and respite basis.

Residents can enjoy many quality facilities including a café, cinema room and hair and beauty salon. Each bedroom is tastefully decorated with an en-suite bathroom. Outside there are large, landscaped grounds and an enclosed courtyard garden. 

Samuel House overlooks Shipley Lake and is located five minutes from Heanor town centre and 15 minutes from Derby. Our dedicated activities team organises a wide range of engaging activities, social events, trips and outings.

We pride ourselves on the transparency of our care quality and fee information - ensuring you can trust us to care from that very first step.

The dedicated and experienced team at Samuel House will provide your loved one with care that’s completely tailored to their individual needs and wishes. 

 

I have always been drawn to caring for the elderly. I have worked in the care sector since leaving school in 1990. I feel a great sense of pride whilst supporting others and being able to meet the residents needs, both physically and emotionally.
