Grant boost for Stanecroft

Home news

Stanecroft has received a £46,500 grant through Surrey County Council as part of the Government’s Dignity in Care initiative

Tony Hosking, Managing Director of Care UK Residential Care Services said: “We’re delighted with the grant, which is specifically for improvements which enhance the dignity, privacy and quality of life for residents. We shall be using it to buy five new specialist baths, some solid garden furniture for all the outdoor communal areas, and to make some  alterations to the middle courtyard which will include new plants and paving, and a water feature.”

Jenny Sharman, Manager of Stanecroft, added; “It’s lovely to have this money to improve the gardens – they’re a special part of many elderly people’s lives, especially in the summer, and we’re going to make a start as soon as possible.”
