Care UK has successfully grown in both revenue and profit over the past five years. Building on its long standing and substantial social care services experience, Care UK has developed a broad range of primary and secondary care services and has become a market leading independent provider of healthcare services to the NHS.

Care UK’s residential and community based services achieve sector leading quality ratings with over 90% of the group’s care homes and 94% of its community care branches rated ‘Good’ or ‘Excellent’ by the Care Quality Commission.

The strategy post-acquisition is to build on this success by enabling Care UK to accelerate growth and undertake selective acquisitions in a way that it was unable to as a quoted business.

The current executive management team will stay with the company to lead this new exciting phase of Care UK’s development and the front line provision and management of care services will be unaffected.

Bridgepoint has a long and successful track record of investing in the healthcare sector and has been following the progress of Care UK closely for a number of years.  Bridgepoint will enable Care UK to grow and develop the health and social care divisions by making available further capital to take advantage of both market opportunities and selected acquisitions.
