Dave is a GEM

Home news

Our life skills carer Dave Donohue has scooped the Care UK North West Going the Extra Mile award for his work at Hollins Park.

The awards are to recognise Care UK employees who “go the extra mile” in terms of their work and commitment.

Our manager Tammy said:

“I would like to nominate David Donohue for a GEM Award, not only for this commitment to caring for residents at Hollins Park but also for continually going out of his way to help where ever it is needed and without being asked."

"Very often David will pop into the home when he is not on duty to see the residents and help out where he can. What a GEM!"

Dave who has worked here at Hollins Park since 1992 received his award and a prize of high street vouchers from our manager Tammy Simmons.
