Smart new kit for Halstead football team

Halstead Town Football Club’s youngest players have been kitted out with new a new strip sponsored by Care UK and Colne View.

The Under-7s kit now carries the Care UK logo, while the under-8s shirts carry the Colne View name.

Under-7s coach Graham Mills said: “The team are delighted with the kit. They are used to seeing their heroes run out on the pitch with their sponsored tops and now they can do it too. They feel like a million dollars.”

Under-8s coach Tracy Hall said her squad too were over the moon with their new strip. Tracy said: “I know the team and their parents are delighted with the generous sponsorship from Colne View. By providing the kit it enables us to put more of the club’s resources into training and the expenses faced by any team. Thank you to everyone at Colne View and Care UK for their help.”

Colne View Manager Heather Choat said: “Many of our residents have lived in Halstead and the surrounding area and many are football fans. We are a part of the town’s community and our residents wanted to make a positive contribution to a new generation of footballers in their town. We wish the teams good luck for the season and we will be watching the sports pages to keep up with their progress.”
