Mills Meadow in Framlingham gets a visit from Suffolk MP Dr Dan Poulter

Home news

Suffolk MP and Parliamentary Health Minister Dr Dan Poulter paid a visit to Mills Meadow care home on Friday 5th April to spend some time with residents and the Care UK team.

The MP, who was shown around the care home, was very impressed with how happy and content the residents are. He said: “Ensuring that older people and their families are treated with compassion and dignity is very important. Care homes such as Mills Meadow have a vital role to play in providing the type of personalised care that enables older people to live as independently as possible.”

Dr Dan Poulter also commented on the plans to expand Mills Meadow so that it can go from providing a home for over 30 people to one that can accommodate up to 60 older people. He welcomed the investment from Care UK into his constituency and commented that Care UK is a quality care provider.

All the residents and Care UK team enjoyed having Dr Dan Poulter visit the home and felt happy that he took the time to chat and answer people’s questions.

Dr Dan Poulter also thanked the Care UK team at Mills Meadow for their diligent and dedicated care of all the residents.
