Angel Court colleagues get festive for Suffolk Family Carers

Colleagues from Angel Court care home and wellbeing centre in Hadleigh took part in a fun and festive Seasonal Sweater Day to help fundraise for Suffolk Family Carers.

Seasonal Sweater Day was part of BBC Radio Suffolk’s ‘Eight Days a Week’ campaign, with the aim of raising £525,000 for Suffolk Family Carers to buy and run a mobile family carers unit. BBC Radio Suffolk will be working with Suffolk Family Carers as their chosen charity this year by hosting and promoting a variety of fundraising campaigns.

Louise Coote, manager at Angel Court, said: “We were delighted to take part in the Seasonal Sweater Day for such a worthwhile, local cause. We all had such fun dressing festively in our Christmas jumpers and Santa hats; one colleague even decorated her jumper herself!”

Angel Court, on Angel Street in Hadleigh, provides residential care for older people, including individuals with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. The adjacent wellbeing centre offers respite care during the day, for older people living in their own homes.
