The £6 million home is now officially open to the community following the arrival of the first residents in June, who since have settled into their new home.
There will be a variety of activities throughout the day and the Priors House team will be joined by Mayor John Knight who will be cutting the ribbon at the state-of-the-art home. Visitors can enjoy live music from a Glenn Miller tribute band that will be performing throughout the day. A variety of refreshments and food made by the care homes very own chef will be available and team members will be on hand to answer any questions.
Julia Joy, Home Manager at Priors House, said: “Everyone at Priors House is very excited about the official launch and we are looking forward to welcoming members of the community into the home. Our first residents are now settled into Priors House and looking forward to the event and meeting Mayor John Knight.
