The team at Brook Court is joining forces with Perdeep Asi, financial planner at Ashcourt Rowan, for a free information seminar. Perdeep will be sharing his knowledge and providing practical guidance on funding long term care – whether caring for someone in their own home or looking at care homes – and visitors will have the opportunity to ask their own questions.
Home manager, Linda Clements, explained why she is opening the doors to Brook Court for the planning care for the future event. “We often find that people find decisions difficult with a lack of support and advice when it comes to care and often due to a crisis situation, there is little time.
“By hosting a free information session, we can open up direct access to trusted professionals who can clearly explain the options when it comes to funding care, and we can also support the people of Kidderminster who are thinking about plans for the future care for their loved ones right now.”
Those who attend the free information seminar at Brook Court will receive a copy of Care UK’s ‘Listen, talk, connect’ guide, which helps friends and relatives to overcome the challenges they may face in having conversations and general interactions with those living with dementia.
Situated on Oldnall Road, Brook Court is a care home which provides full time residential, nursing and dementia care, as well as short term respite care. The state-of-the-art home has been designed to deliver the very best standards of care and to enable residents to live active and fulfilled lives.
