West Sussex care home invites local community to meet the manager

Care UK has announced the appointment of Nicola Palladino as home manager at Francis Court care home. On Thursday 4 December from 3pm to 5pm she is opening the doors to the home for a meet the manager event.

Nicola Palladino, from Burgess Hill, has taken to the helm of the 95-strong team at Francis Court, with responsibility for the day to day running of the care home. Having qualified as a nurse almost 20 years ago, she has built up extensive experience in the residential care sector, working in both clinical support and managerial roles.

Speaking about her new position, Nicola said: “I am delighted to have been appointed as home manager for Francis Court and to be heading up a team of committed and compassionate individuals on behalf of Care UK. 

“I strongly believe the residents at Francis Court should be at the heart of everything we do here, and I will be leading the way in ensuring care is tailored to their individual needs. At the same time, I am focused on putting Francis Court on the map as a valued part of the community here in West Sussex, and I look forward to meeting local people and getting to know our neighbours at the forthcoming meet the manager event.”   

Deborah Inkersole, regional director at Care UK, added: “Nicola has been recruited on the basis of her professionalism, experience, skills and track record, and we are very pleased to have her on board at Francis Court. She is a hands-on manager who is clearly looking forward to being involved in all aspects of daily life within the home, and she is already driving standards to ensure Francis Court builds a reputation for quality, person-centred care.”

People in West Sussex are invited to visit Francis Court on Thursday 4 December any time between 3pm and 5pm to meet Nicola. There will be mulled wine and mince pies on offer as the home takes the opportunity to kick start its Christmas celebrations.

Francis Court provides a range of care services for up to 87 residents, including residential care for older people, specialist dementia care, and respite stays. The modern, purpose-built home has been designed to feel warm and welcoming, with a friends and family room and landscaped gardens both proving to be popular destinations for residents and visitors alike.
