Paul Thurston who had kept his hair long for most of his adult life, was a little nervous before visiting the hair salon at Britten Court but delighted he has been able to help change the lives of those supported by Comic Relief.
Sarah Emery, head housekeeper at Britten Court, used her former hairdressing skills to undertake the task.
Sarah said: “Paul has done a brilliant job raising so much money for Comic Relief. The residents and Care UK colleagues here were pleased to watch and cheer Paul throughout, and we all hope he enjoys his new haircut.”
Britten Court is on Love Road in Lowestoft and has been open since December 2014. For more information about Britten Court call on 0333 321 1984 or visit careuk.com/britten-court
