I enjoy mornings the most at Britten Court: many residents are up and about and I can spend time with them, having a chat and finding out how they plan to spend their day. I’m privileged to work with some wonderful residents and families.

What others have to say

Here are just some of the comments we’ve received from family, friends and residents at Britten Court care home.

The staff are very caring and always there to listen to any concerns.

Relative of a resident, April 2021

She has been in there nearly a year and not had a single problem to complain about. I’m happy with the home in every aspect, I would recommend it. I go whenever I want, every week and have never seen anything bad. It’s a nice place. I was recommended it by a friend and that’s how she went there.

Relative, March 2019

They have a nursery school on their grounds and the pupils are actively involved with the residents. The junior school come and do activities at the home and my dad absolutely loves it, there is plenty of entertainment.  There is always cake and coffee available. I can take my dad’s dogs there and it's just very good.

Relative, March 2019

It is a very bright home and the staff are very helpful; everything met my mum's requirements and needs.

Mrs Alison Curtis, March 2019

I was impressed with the way the staff talked to me and my mother. Staff were really professional and welcoming. My mother used to do flower arranging and staff did this as an activity. My mother also used to bake and the residents were invited to join in with making Christmas cakes recently. My mother is well looked after and I feel that my mother is safe.

Mr Barry Arnold, November 2018
