Community invited to charity summer fete at Mildenhall care home

Home news

Members of the local community are invited to a special summer fete at Mildenhall Lodge which will help to raise money for Alzheimer’s Society and the RAF ‘wounded warriors’.

The event will be held on Saturday 25th July from 2pm-5pm.

Paul Draper, home manager at Mildenhall Lodge, said: “Our summer fete is set to be a fun day for all the family, with a barbecue, home-made cake stall, bouncy castle, jumble sale, and charity stalls selling special painted jars and jewellery which residents have been busy making. Local mobile petting-zoo, Zootastic, will also be there with a range of exotic reptiles and birds of prey, and Mildenhall Lodge care assistant Sonia Graziano will also be doing balloon modelling.

“We look forward to welcoming the local community to share in our exciting day and to help us in raising money for two brilliant causes.”
