The seaside show, which was to take place in the grounds of the home, was quickly rescheduled to indoors when the rain showed no signs of letting up during one of the wettest summers.
The show, organised by carer, Tracie Thomson, kicked off with a Cockney knees with singer and entertainer, Brian Shaw, followed by a Punch and Judy show. The puppets and set were all hand-made by Tracie, and included Punch, Judy, the Policeman and the Crocodile and the script was written by carer, Daniel Flynn who also choreographed the show complete with all the voices!
The seaside show was a resounding success and enjoyed by residents and staff alike with lots of singing and laughter, finished off with a traditional fish and chip lunch, ice cream cornets and candy floss.
