Festive fun at East Grinstead care home

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas at Mill View care home in East Grinstead, with members of the public invited to its annual Christmas fayre on Saturday 28th November.

From 11am until 3pm the care home on Dunnings Road will be providing festive fun for all the family.

Children will have the opportunity to visit Santa’s grotto and make a Christmas wish, and there will be a host of jolly Christmas games to enjoy, including ‘guess the weight of the Christmas cake’ and a raffle.

There will also be gift inspiration with stalls selling items such as books, homemade cakes and soaps, as well as seasonal produce including mulled wine and mince pies.

Residents will be singing carols throughout the afternoon and visitors are invited to join in and sing some festive favourites.

Mill View home manager, Cindy Luscombe, said: “Christmas is a magical time of year and here at Mill View we like to make all our residents feel at home by kicking off the festive celebrations with plenty of traditional fun. We are all looking forward to inviting family, friends and people of East Grinstead into our home.”
