Afternoon with the Mayor was a sweet treat for Copthorne care home

Home news

Residents from a local care home enjoyed afternoon tea with guests of honour when they visited the Mayor’s Chambers recently.

The Mayor of Crawley, Raj Sharma and his wife, Mayoress Bhavna, invited residents from Francis Court care home to enjoy an afternoon of conversation and homemade cakes.

Mary Ann Ballesteros, home manager at Francis Court said: “Here at Francis Court it is important for us to build strong relationships with the local community, and we often take the residents out to experience Crawley and the surrounding areas.

“It was lovely to receive an invitation from the Mayor and the residents were very excited about the visit. Everyone had a wonderful day, and we look forward to inviting Mayor Raj and Mayoress Bhavna to Francis Court to return the invitation”
