Free advice event returns to Stansted care home

A care home in Stansted is inviting the local community to its free event designed to provide support and practical advice for families caring for those living with dementia.

On Tuesday 29th November, from 10.30am to 12.30pm, the team at Mountfitchet House will open the doors for its free understanding dementia event.

Dr Nori Graham, a dementia specialist, will be on hand to help people understand what it might be like to live with dementia. There will be information on what dementia is and how memories are lost, as well as useful tips on how to overcome communication barriers.  

After the event there will be a Q&A session, and those who attend will also have the opportunity to meet the team at Mountfitchet House and take a tour of the care home.
