The new three-story care home on St Marks Lane opened on Monday 21st November, and to commemorate this milestone has donated £250 worth of art supplies to Holbrook Primary School, located across the road.
Skylark House will provide full time residential care, specialist dementia care and short term respite care for older people in Horsham and beyond, and features 82 ensuite bedrooms, its own cinema, hairdressing salon and café.
Home manager, Devendra Lallchand, said: “What better way to mark the opening of Skylark House than by showing our support for a neighbour. We have worked closely with Holbrook Primary School to create a lovely collage for our marketing suite, made up of drawings of people they care about.”
“We are delighted to be able to give something back to the school and I’m sure the new residents will look forward to seeing some of the art created by the children.”
Holbrook Primary School head teacher, Ian Holmes said: “We are delighted to accept the kind donation of the art supplies from the Care UK team at Skylark House. We always encourage the children to be creative and there’s no doubt they will put the new supplies to good use!”
