The Mayor of Hounslow, Ajmer Grewal and Councillor Pritam Grewal, performed the official ribbon cutting to open the new suites at Charlotte House.
The local community joined the team and residents for the celebration and had the opportunity to take a first look around the new Lancaster and Viscount nursing suites, following a £682,000 investment in the care home.
The two luxury suites have been completely refurbished to include en-suite rooms for 28 residents, dining and living areas, and a purpose built hair salon.
Residents at Charlotte House were also joined by representatives from the Isleworth Society and the Alzheimer’s Society who enjoyed entertainment from local group, ‘The Haywood Sisters’, and shared a Ritz-style afternoon tea with residents.
Zoe Smith, home manager at Charlotte House, said: “As with everything we do at Charlotte House, our residents, their families and the local community were at the heart of our event to commemorate the opening of the new suites.
“We were delighted so many people joined us as we marked this important milestone, and would like to say a special thank you to Ajmer, Pritam Grewal, the Isleworth Society and the Alzheimer’s Society, for their continued support of Charlotte House.
“We now look forward to welcoming residents to their impressive new home over the coming months.”
