Local people in Thorrington who are considering long-term care for themselves or a loved one are invited to attend a free Planning Care for the Future event at Silversprings.

On Thursday 9^th March, from 2pm–4pm, the team will open the doors to the care home on Tenpenny Hill for the advice-led event.

Wealth management specialist, Steven Hendrie, will be on hand to give local people professional advice and guidance about funding long-term care– whether it’s in their own home or in a care home.

Sacha Tiller from Age Legal Services, will also be joining guests at Silversprings to provide practical guidance and information on topics including wills and Lasting Power of Attorney. Both Steven and Sacha will be available to offer their expertise in a Q&A session at the end of the event.

Home manager at Silversprings, Susan Oates, said: “At Silversprings we strongly believe professional knowledge, insight and shared experiences can make a real difference to the everyday lives of those planning care for themselves or for loved ones.
