Care UK settles into new Knebworth home

Company news

Care UK recently acquired Knebworth care home in Woolmer Green.

The luxury, state-of-the-art home was previously run by Abbey Healthcare and provides full-time residential, nursing and dementia care, as well as short-term respite care for up to 71 older people.

Knebworth care home has been designed to enable residents to live enjoyable and fulfilling lives. Its facilities include a hair salon, coffee shop, cinema lounge, and plenty of space for activities and relaxation.

Bernard Mawoyo, regional director at Care UK, said: “We are thrilled to announce our arrival here in the town and have already received a warm welcome from the local community, residents and team members at the home. We look forward to building strong relationships with local people and are ready for an exciting new chapter in Woolmer Green.”

Vera Moreira-Henocq, Knebworth care home manager, added: “While we’ve been established in the town now for five years, we’re really excited about this new lease of life as we become a Care UK home. I will be working closely with our new Care UK team to make Knebworth an even more fulfilling place for residents, with plenty of fun activities and events already in the pipeline – so watch this space.”
