Darlington Police visit residents at Ventress Hall

Home news

Ventress Hall was recently approached by Darlington Police, who were taking part in a ‘give a gift’ campaign within the Northeast.

Police Officers CCO Katie Bartle, PCSOs Ashleighe Charlton, Racheal Small  and Will Mackie contacted home manager, Judy Wray to ask if our residents if they would like a visit fromthe police to give each resident a wonderful Christmas gift. Judy felt this would be a lovely idea and asked residents if they would like a visit from Darlington Police, to which there was a resounding ‘yes’.

At 2pm on 21st December 2017 the police visited the home with over 80 gifts for every resident and had a few photos taken along the way.

Judy said ‘ This a fantastic idea and as it is our first visit from ‘give a gift’, residents were over the moon.  A massive thank you to all the officers who visited Ventress Hall to wish residents a Happy Christmas and present them with some wonderful gifts.’
