Foxbridge House celebrates fifth birthday with community fun

Home news

Foxbridge House care home threw open its doors to the local community in celebration of a milestone birthday.

The team at Foxbridge House welcomed the people of Orpington for an afternoon of celebrations, having opened five years ago.

Residents and guests enjoyed a special performance from local performer and entertainer, Tricia Court, who performed their favourite ‘golden oldie’ songs. There was also a delicious finger buffet for visitors to sample, including a variety of sandwiches and snacks.

Carol McCormack, home manager at Foxbridge House, said: “We’ve had a fantastic five years at Foxbridge House and what better way to celebrate than throwing a big party for the residents with the songs they love. It was great to welcome the local community, and everyone loved singing along to their favourite hits!

“Building strong relationships with our neighbours is really important to us, and it was lovely to welcome the people of Orpington into the home to celebrate with us. We would like to say a big thank you to everyone who came along.”
