On Wednesday 23rd May from 10.30am-12.30pm, the Deputy Mayor of Welwyn Hatfield, Councillor Barbara Fitzsimon, will join the team and residents at Knebworth, to officially open the home’s newest suite.
Local people are invited to attend the opening of the Maple Suite – which will offer nursing care for 17 older people in the area. The event will include live music from local artist Ricardo, and complementary refreshments.
Home manager at Knebworth, Vera Moreira-Henocq, said: “The care home has been established in the town for more than five years, however since becoming a Care UK home at the end of last year, we’ve had a new lease of life and we’re continuing the momentum we’ve built by unveiling our fantastic new nursing suite.
“It’s a very exciting time for us here at Knebworth and we are thrilled to be able to announce the expansion of our existing services. We’re looking forward to welcoming residents to the new suite and building on the warm, welcoming environment we have created at the home.
“We hope local people will join us as we commemorate its opening, and we are especially thrilled that the Deputy Mayor of the borough is able to join us for our special day.”
