Considering care for a loved one? Mildenhall Lodge offers free advice

Home news

Mildenhall Lodge will open its doors to the local community for a free event offering advice and support for those considering care for a loved one.

On Tuesday 26th June, from 10am-12 noon, the home will be inviting independent specialists to the home to provide useful and practical information at its Planning Care for the Future event.

Wealth management specialist, Steven Hendrie, and Octavia Stoodley from Ashtons Legal, will join the team to discuss government funding, Power of Attorney and ways of making your savings go further. There will also be the opportunity to meet with other carers and take a closer look at the home.

Home manager at Mildenhall Lodge, Katy Hughes, said: “We understand that considering care options for a loved one can be a difficult and confusing time. Many people are unaware of the process and how the care system works. By offering guidance and support, we hope that these complicated decisions are made less stressful.”

“It is fantastic to have independent advisors, Steven and Octavia, on hand to provide professional and reliable information, and we look forward to welcoming members of the local community in for our informative event.”
