Popular Planning Care for the Future event returns to Francis Court

Francis Court is inviting the local community to a free advice-led event designed to provide support for people considering their loved one’s future care.

On Wednesday 12th September, from 2pm - 3.30pm, the team at Francis Court will open the doors to the care home on Borers Arms Road for its free ‘Planning care for the future’ event. 

Independent specialists Chris Brooker, from Nick Truss, and Laura Croft, from Steele Rose & Co Ltd, will be on hand to give local people professional advice and guidance about funding long-term carefor their loved one – whether it’s in their own home or in a care home. Chris and Laura will also discuss legal matters such as wills and Power of Attorney.

After the event there will be aQ&A session, and those who attend will also have the opportunity to meet the team at Francis Courtand take a tour of the care home.

Home manager at Francis Court, Mary Ballesteros, said: “The advice and guidance provided at this event has always been very well received, and we hope all those considering the future care of a loved one will take the opportunity to benefit from our expertise.

“We know that planning future care can bring up a lot of questions, so we are delighted to welcome Chris and Laura to the event, both of whom are experts in their field and can provide practical advice and support.”
