Summer fun at Manor Lodge

Home news

Residents at Manor Lodge were joined by the local community for a day of family fun at its annual summer fête.

There was something for everyone to enjoy at Manor Lodge, from face painting and craft activities, to traditional games including a tombola and raffle.

The party was in full swing throughout the day with a musical performance from local artist, Saul Watts, who kept everyone entertained with nostalgic hits from the residents’ younger years.

Juliana Miles, home manager at Manor Lodge, said: “Our summer fête was a fun-filled day for both residents and visitors alike. There was laughter and smiles all around as everyone enjoyed the entertainment in the sunshine.

“It’s important to us here at Manor Lodge, that the residents are able to build relationships with the local community, and it’s clear to see how much they benefit from events like these. This event was particularly lovely as it was very much a family affair – several residents had four generations enjoying the fête with them!

“I’d like to thank everyone for joining us in making it so special, and we hope everyone who shared the day with us enjoyed it as much as we did.”
