Trusted to care in Chelmsford, Essex
Manor Lodge is an ‘outstanding’-rated and purpose-built care home in Chelmsford, Essex that delivers permanent and respite nursing, residential and dementia care.
When a new resident joins us, we get to know them extremely well so that we can create care and lifestyle plans that are personalised to their needs, wishes and preferences. Our home has some fantastic facilities for residents to use whenever they wish, from a café to a cinema, a library to an activity room, a hair salon and a little shop.
We also have an in-house physiotherapy gym. Through a combination of nursing care and support from our physiotherapist, we have helped to transform many residents’ lives – enabling them to regain their mobility and independence.
We are passionate about supporting residents to enjoy meaningful activities and experiences every day – what we call meaningful lifestyles. Some residents find purpose from helping around the home, folding laundry or helping in the garden. Others enjoy the many group and one-to-one activities that we organise.
Our team at Manor Lodge delivers many different types of care on both a permanent or respite (short term) basis. We always assess every prospective new resident before they join us so we know what they need.Read more

What I love about being a care home manager is being in a position to make decisions and changes that give residents the comfortable, happy and secure life they deserve. It’s important to me that we recognise the individuality of each resident and provide them with care that is tailored to their precise needs.Juliana MilesHome Manager
