Parkinson’s awareness event comes to Priors House

Priors House is inviting the local community to its free event for people caring for those living with Parkinson’s. 

On Thursday 13th September, from 6.30pm - 8pm, the team at Priors House will open its doors for its Parkinson’s Awareness event.

The home is pleased to welcome Dr Strens, consultant neurologist, who will share information and practical advice to help those affected by Parkinson’s and their loved ones. 

There will be support and helpful tips on improving life for those affected by Parkinson’s, as well as a chance to discover the local support and services available across Leamington Spa.

After the event there will be a Q&A session and the opportunity to meet the friendly team at Priors House, as well as take a closer look at the care home.

Francine Summers, home manager at Priors House, said: “Here at Priors House, we strongly believe professional knowledge, insight and shared experiences can make a real difference to the everyday lives of those looking after a loved one living with Parkinson’s.

“The aim of the event is to help people discover approaches to caring for loved ones and to support them to lead independent and fulfilled lives.
