Home news

The Burroughs will officially open its cafe and pub with the help of a VIP guest.

The Burroughs unveils new cafe

People in West Drayton are invited to join the team and residents at The Burroughs on Tuesday 29th January from 2pm - 4pm.

To mark the opening, the Mayor of Hillingdon, Councillor John Morgan, will perform a ceremonial ribbon cutting, before he and the guests enjoy a cuppa and some biscuits in the newly opened cafe.

Guests will also be able to tap their feet to live entertainment from Dave Mac, who will get everyone in the party spirit.

The cafe, which was named Aubrey Smith by the residents after the original owner of The Burroughs, will provide the perfect spot for residents and their families to meet and enjoy a sweet treat.

Throughout the afternoon, visitors will have the opportunity to meet the team at The Burroughs and take a tour of the home.

Bozena Szczepaniak, home manager at The Burroughs, said: “We are looking forward to inviting the local community into our home to have a first look at the new cafe. We have built a warm community here and now we have everything in place to provide the perfect space to welcome our guests and share a hot drink and some delicious treats.

“We are thrilled that the Mayor of Hillingdon, Councillor John Morgancan also join us for our special day, and look forward to welcoming people to the event.”
