Ferndown Manor is inviting the local community to a free advice-led event designed to provide support for those considering their loved one’s future care.

Popular ‘planning care for the future’ event returns to Ferndown Manor

On Thursday 21st February, from 2pm - 4pm, the team at Ferndown Manor will open its doors for their ‘planning care for the future’ event which is free to the community to attend. Spaces are limited, so reservation is essential.

Independent specialists Robin Harper, from Tilney Financial Planning, and Laura Clarke, from Steele Raymond LLP Solicitors, will be on hand to give professional advice and guidance about funding long-term carefor a loved one – whether it’s in their own home or a care home. Robin and Laura will also discuss legal matters, such as wills and power of attorney.

Those who attend will have the opportunity to meet the friendly team at Ferndown Manorand take a closer look at the care home.

Janet Lewis, home manager at Ferndown Manor, said: “The advice and guidance provided at this event has always been very well received, and we hope all those considering the future care of a loved one will take the opportunity to benefit from our expertise.
