Our luxurious home has been designed with your loved one’s comfort in mind. Residents can enjoy a range of facilities including a café, cinema room and a hair and beauty salon. Residents living with dementia can relax in the homes dedicated Namaste room. Outside there are beautiful, landscaped gardens to enjoy. Each bedroom has its own en-suite facilities and is individually styled. Residents are encouraged to bring their own treasured possessions to help them settle into their new home.

Our team empower residents to make decisions about their care and how they spend their day, giving them maximum choice and control while ensuring they are safe and well cared for at all times.

Our Ferndown team get to know your loved one's needs, interests and tastes, so that we can enable them to keep active and engaged in everyday life. Our lifestyle team plans a wide range of group and one-to-one activities such as creative and music sessions and growing veg in the gardens. We have strong links to the local school and often arrange fun, intergenerational activities. Even our chefs learn about your loved one’s likes and dislikes and tailor menus to their tastes.

Walking around the home first thing in the morning is my favourite part of my job as it gives me an opportunity to greet every member of staff and residents.

A huge thank you to everyone involved in Mum's 102nd birthday celebrations this week. This event showed that Manor Lodge is an extraordinary care home where the residents can feel very much at home in a true family atmosphere.

There is always something going on in the home. They have a fabulous activities team, really good at what they do... they stepped in when my loved one was having a difficult time, they took time to find out her interests and organised something for her. They arrange outings too... it is varied to cater to different interests and capabilities.

They know my loved one's individual capabilities, they understand what she can and can't do and they provide precisely the right level of care day by day... if she needs help with anything, they are there. The slightest problem, they give me a ring... they always keep me in touch with what's going on. I can't fault them.

The best thing about the home is the staff! They are all very capable and their approach to caring for the residents is outstanding… they want my loved one to be as happy as possible, I see that very clearly whenever I visit. She is always clean and well-presented and they are really on-the-ball when it comes to health issues.
