The team at Millers Grange will be hosting an ‘Understanding Dementia’ event on Thursday 12th September from 2pm-4pm. Led by dementia specialist Lauren Lovatt from Care UK, this session will help visitors discover the small things they can do to make a difference to people living with dementia. The eventwill offer expert advice and answer any questions on the specialised care offered at Millers Grangefor people living with dementia.

Home manager at Millers Grange, Steve Reader, explains: “We know that it can be challenging to look after a friend or relative living with dementia. It’s natural to feel confused about the best way to help a loved one, so our events aim to offer professional knowledge to those who need it – as well as provide a hub for shared experiences.

“We want people to know they’re not alone, and we’re here to offer support. We look forward to welcoming them to the home for two inspiring afternoons of information and guidance.”
