A care home in Whitstable is inviting the local community to a free advice-led event designed to provide support for those considering their loved one’s future care.
On Wednesday 6th November, from 2pm-4pm, the Care UK team at Harrier Lodge, on Thanet Way, will open the home’s doors for the free ‘planning care for the future’ event.
Managing director, Lee Smythe, from Smythe & Walter Chartered Financial Planners, and James Matthews from Tassells Solicitors, will be on hand to offer professional advice and guidance about funding long-term care for a loved one – whether it’s in their own home or in a care home. During the event, those who attend will also have the opportunity to meet the friendly team at Harrier Lodge and take a closer look at the care home. Diane Collins, home manager at Harrier Lodge, said: “We hope all those considering the future care of a loved one will take the opportunity to benefit from the expert’s knowledge, as the advice and guidance provided at this event has always been very well received. “We know that planning future care can bring up a lot of questions, so we are delighted to welcome two local professionals to the event, who are experts in their field and can provide practical advice and support.”
