A care home in Knebworth is inviting the local community to a free event offering support for people considering care for their loved one.
On Thursday 14th November, from 11am-1pm, the Care UK team at Knebworth care home, on London Road, will open its doors to the community for its free ‘Planning care for the future’ event.
Sharon Brown, from Tollers Solicitors, Nicky Cave, from Eldercare Solutions and Claire Austin, from Austin’s Funeral Directors will be on hand to deliver an informative session to help those caring for a loved one understand the options for funding long-term care, including the benefits they may be entitled to and how to make savings go further. The experts will offer advice and information on legal matters, including wills and Power of Attorney.
After the event there will be a helpful Q&A session, as well as an opportunity to meet the friendly team at Knebworth.
Vera Moreira Henocq, home manager at Knebworth, said: “Here at Knebworth, we understand that providing advice and guidance can be incredibly helpful for anyone considering the future care of a loved one, which is why we are delighted to host this event.
“It is a privilege to be joined by Sharon, Nicky and Claire, who can provide professional guidance in this area, and we hope local people will take this opportunity to benefit from their expertise.”
Knebworth delivers a full range of residential care for older people, including short-term respite care, nursing care and specialist care for people living with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.
