Dedicated, Covid-safe indoor visiting suite opens at Jubilee House care home

Home news

Here at Jubilee House we know that maintaining family and social connections is fundamental to the health and wellbeing of residents. We are committed to supporting residents to enjoy visits from their family and friends wherever possible while complying with current restrictions.

Dedicated, Covid-safe indoor visiting suite opens at Jubilee House care homeWith that in mind, we’re delighted to announce the installation of a dedicated indoor visiting suite at our home, allowing residents to receive Covid-safe, screened visits from their loved ones.

Our fully secure visiting space is directly accessible from outside and has a built-in clear screen and intercom system enabling visitors to chat easily with their loved ones in the home.

These spaces mean that we can continue to facilitate relatives’ visits even if someone working or living in the home has symptoms of the virus or has tested positive for Covid-19. However, if, in some rare circumstances, we need to pause indoor visits we will continue to provide closed window visits as we know how important it is for you to see your loved one.

Jonathan Fahy, customer relations manager at Jubilee House, said, “I know relatives and friends will be very relieved to hear this news and the new space will make a huge difference to the lives of residents and their families. It’s a great step forward in being able to regularly visit loved ones.”

If you would like to find out more or book a visit with a loved one, please call the home or email jonathan.fahy@careuk.com.
