Let the good vibes roll! Woking care home invites local community to a festival to remember

A new festival is coming to Woking – and you won’t believe where it’s taking place.  

On 27^th June 2023, from 12.30pm-4.30pm, Care UK’s Greenview Hall, on Streets Heath, is set to hit the right note as it opens its doors to local people for a summer festival. 

The fun-filled festival comes as Greenview Hall celebrates Care Home Open Week, a national initiative that encourages care homes to open their doors and showcase what life in a care home is really like. 

The special event will see guests invited to dance along to live entertainment from local performer, Jane Beaumont, who will be performing a variety of songs from the 50s through to current music today – sure to get the party started.

Visitors will also be treated to traditional fish and chips, thoughtfully prepared by the home’s talented head chef.

“Care Home Open Week offers the perfect opportunity to get together with loved ones and enjoy a celebration of live music. Many residents at Greenview Hall have fond memories of watching live music and attending music festivals in their younger years, and this event will encourage them to look back and relive these happy times.

“We have many music lovers here at Greenview Hall, and we’re really excited to ring in summer in style with our first ever festival. We can’t wait to strike a chord with residents and the wider community!
