Boogie the day away! Haverhill care home invites local community to celebrate ‘outstanding’ CQC rating with afternoon disco

A care home in Haverhill is inviting the local community to put on their party hats and toast a very special achievement. 

On Friday 1^st September, from 2pm-5pm, Care UK’s Cleves Place, on Millfields Way, will be hosting a special party with an afternoon disco to celebrate the CQC (Care Quality Commision) naming the home ‘outstanding’ for the second time.

The special event will see guests invited to dance along to live entertainment and groovy tunes from residents’ favourite local entertainer, Richard Linton, who will be performing classic hits from across the decades – sure to get the party started.

With a donut wall and vintage sweet cart on hand, guests will be able to enjoy sweet treats throughout the day. There will also be an awards ceremony, with team members presented with their ‘outstanding’ badges in celebration of being named ‘outstanding’.

Visitors will also be treated to a traditional afternoon tea, as well as a glass of bubbly, specially prepared by the home’s talented Head Chef.
