Living at Lonsdale Mews is all about living life in the way you choose. From the moment your loved one moves in, we will get to know them well, from their health needs to their life history, passions and preferences, so that we can provide personalised care and experiences that will enable them to lead a fulfilling life.

Your loved one is welcome to do whatever brings them satisfaction and happiness. They can join in with group activities such as exercise classes and music sessions or enjoy one-to-one time in our salon. If they wish, they can help around the home, or get out and about on outings to their favourite local attractions.

The carers, cleaning team, customer relations manager, reception team, catering team – everybody in the home knows everybody's name. It's like one big family. You can tell that they see my loved one for the person he is, they never patronise him or talk down to him... they are nothing but kind, considerate and encouraging... he is never pressured to do anything he doesn't want to do. The care is tailored to his needs in a very personable way.

I visit frequently so its easy for the team to keep me up to date with how my loved is doing. They will always come and have a chat with me, and if anything important happens they will call me to let me know and ask for my input. They take the time to know me as well as my loved one, and they understand that it's important for me to feel included in her care.
