Welcome to Priors House

Priors House care home in Royal Leamington Spa delivers quality residential, nursing, dementia care, and highly compassionate end of life care. We also offer short-term respite care.

Our beautifully furnished home has bright, open, and welcoming areas like our coffee shop which is perfect for reading or relaxing, or for catching up with friends and family. Our other hotel-style facilities include a cinema, hair and beauty salon, library and activities room.

If your loved one loves to get involved in activities whether this be in a group or one-to-one our lifestyle team have daily activities to ensure that no day is the same and your loved one is fulfilling everyday.

Priors House is officially a ‘Veteran Friendly Framework’ accredited care home, recognising our best practice and highest standards of care for the Armed Forces community.

We are proud to have been internally accredited with the evidence-based, person-centered Care Fit for VIPS.

Living at Priors House is all about living life in the way you choose, and residents are always supported to maintain their independence. Our team delivers award-winning care and puts your quality of life at the heart of everything we do. 

From the moment your loved one moves in, we will get to know them well, so that we can provide personalised care and experiences that will enable them to lead a fulfilling life. 

Your loved one is welcome to do whatever brings them satisfaction and happiness. They can join in with group activities such as exercise classes and music sessions or enjoy one-to-one time in our salon. If they wish, they can help around the home, or get out and about on outings to their favourite local attractions.

The dedicated and experienced team at Priors House will provide your loved one with care that is completely tailored to their individual needs and wishes.

 

There’s a lot to do when you’re a home manager, but the best bit is having a coffee with the residents and chatting with them. When I can I also join in with activities because it’s wonderful seeing residents enjoying themselves – after all, that’s why we do what we do. I love seeing happy residents living fulfilling lives in our warm and friendly home.

The quality of the team is head and shoulders above other homes I know, and they are clearly very well trained when it comes to being aware of the specific needs associated with dementia and Alzheimer's. I have found them to be nothing short of excellent from the word go... helpful and supportive to the residents and their families alike.

They are so kind to my loved one, some come and hug her and it's lovely to see her feeling so comfortable and at ease. They make her feel truly appreciated for who she is and she has a particularly lovely friendship with one of the carers. When she came out of hospital, she said it was like coming home, which is wonderful.

My loved one has improved both mentally and physically in the time he's been there. It's clear there is good leadership in the home and there seems to be a high level of commitment to providing quality care. I would like to express our sincere gratitude to you and the wonderful staff at Priors House for hosting our students for the "Postcards of Joy" event. It was truly a heartwarming experience, and our girls had such a delightful time interacting with the residents. Please thank them for sharing their stories with us. There was so much joy in the room and it was clear that both the girls and the residents greatly enjoyed each other’s company.
