We are excited to announce our beautiful new care home is officially open. Led by experienced manager Pooja Dhoot, the team deliver exceptional residential, nursing and dementia care on a permanent and respite basis, in warm, welcoming surroundings.

The Wickets features many luxury facilities, including a café, hair salon, cinema room and in-house bar. Each of the ensuite bedrooms are spacious and individually decorated, the ground floor rooms even have direct access to a private patio. Outside enjoy the beautifully landscaped gardens and wheelchair accessible seating areas.

Located near the heart of Southampton, there are plenty of local amenities nearby. Our dedicated lifestyle team work hard to plan a programme of activities and trips to local places of interest in the home’s own minibus.

In this role, you need to have strong leadership skills and be able to stay calm and multitask in challenging situations. The nature of our work also means it’s essential to have empathy and compassion. My approach is to ensure teams feel empowered through good coaching and mentoring. I always feel incredibly proud when I see teams be the best they can be.
