Welcome to The Wickets

We are excited to announce our beautiful new care home is officially open. Led by experienced manager Pooja Dhoot, the team specialises in delivering exceptional residential and dementia care alongside high-quality nursing and nursing dementia care, available on both a permanent and respite basis in warm, welcoming surroundings.

The Wickets features many luxury facilities, including a café, hair salon, cinema room and in-house bar. Each of the ensuite bedrooms are spacious and individually decorated, the ground floor rooms even have direct access to a private patio. Outside enjoy the beautifully landscaped gardens and wheelchair accessible seating areas.

Located near the heart of Southampton, there are plenty of local amenities nearby. Our dedicated lifestyle team work hard to plan a programme of activities and trips to local places of interest in the home’s own minibus.

Reserve your room today and we’ll fix the fees until 2027.

The dedicated and experienced team at The Wickets will provide your loved one with care that’s completely tailored to their individual needs and wishes.

In this role, you need to have strong leadership skills and be able to stay calm and multitask in challenging situations. The nature of our work also means it’s essential to have empathy and compassion. My approach is to ensure teams feel empowered through good coaching and mentoring. I always feel incredibly proud when I see teams be the best they can be.

With being fairly new, the care home is not only modern but also equipped with all those things that aid quality of life for each resident regardless of their condition, and they are first class.
