Whitebourne is a welcoming care home for older people in Frimley, Surrey. Our team provides quality residential and respite care for older people, including individuals who are living with dementia.

We believe that, when a person moves into a care home, they should still have goals and wishes for their future. As a result, there’s a positive, friendly and fun atmosphere at Whitebourne and a focus on personalised care and experiences.

Every bedroom at Whitebourne is spacious and comfortable, with en-suite facilities, stylish furniture, a 24-hour nurse call system and telephone and television connections. Some rooms overlook our gardens with their raised flower beds and variety of seating areas.

We pride ourselves on the transparency of our care quality and fee information - ensuring you can trust us to care from that very first step.

We organise a wealth of group and one-to-one activities, and some residents enjoy helping around the home to retain their independence. Residents also play an active part in decisions about the home. They enjoy making new friends and trying new activities. Residents can do as much or as little as they wish: they can lead an activity, help around the home or simply relax in the comfort of their bedroom.

The dedicated and experienced team at Whitebourne will provide your loved one with care that is completely tailored to their individual needs and wishes.

For me, the best part of the day is the end of the shift when I get to check that the residents are all safe and well, the home is cosy and warm, and the staff are all thanked for their work.

Here are just some of the comments we’ve received from family, friends and residents at Whitebourne care home.

I visited several care homes to look around before choosing Whitebourne, and I have to say that Whitebourne was the obvious choice. They have a good activities program and frequent mobility hours in their chairs; they're always trying to get the residents up and moving and there is a definite focus on engagement. I also like the fact that they specialise in dementia, and they understand patients with dementia. You can see clearly that the staff have a good relationship with residents by how they treat them, they all seem to be very friendly and caring. They seem to retain staff too, so that is helpful for the residents.

The carers are wonderful, so hard-working, they go the extra mile for the residents, they are very dedicated. They have taken the time to get to know my loved one; they treat her very tenderly and speak with me about her with such affection. They are always happy to help if I ask for help and I'm treated with the same respect as my loved one. I talk to a lot of the carers and managers, and I have a good feeling of what is going on. I attend regular relatives' meetings with the manager, which helps to keep me informed about the home and it's a good chance to discuss any issues... it's a really positive atmosphere, I just wish more families joined the meetings.

The manager of the home is excellent, he has a good understanding of the staff and the residents and whenever I meet him, he knows about my loved one's current condition. The staff involve the family in everything they do, such as events and themed parties, and residents have a special day on their birthdays where they can request what they would like to do. The staff are very attentive, if the relative has health issues the staff deal with it quickly and efficiently and keep me well informed. If it is serious, they get her to hospital immediately... they are always responsive and the residents come first.
