‘Excellent’ response from relatives

St Peter’s Court has been rated ‘Excellent’ by residents’ relatives in its annual satisfaction survey.

We sent surveys to relatives and friends and were delighted when respondents came back with excellent satisfaction ratings across our services.

They all said the level and sensitivity of the care received by their loved one was excellent and all also rated the approachable and friendly staff as excellent. Comments included:

  • “Would not want him in any other care home but St Peters.”
  • “I am so grateful to staff.”
  • “At all times, staff are brilliant.”
  • “All the staff I have met at the moment, including laundry and kitchen staff, have always been polite and friendly.”

The home was considered excellent by three quarters of respondents and good by the remaining quarter.

All areas scored very highly and there was particular praise for the sharing of information, the range of activities open to residents and the comfort and cleanliness of the home.

Manager Lizi Langley said: “I had tears in my eyes as I read the responses.  We work very hard to support our residents’ relatives and it was lovely to see the staff’s work recognised. We have 35 staff here and I wouldn’t change one of them.”
