The Burroughs sets sights on sensory garden

Home news

An Easter fayre at Care UK’s The Burroughs in West Drayton will be raising money to create a special sensory garden for the home’s residents.

The fayre which will take the form of a garden party will include cake stalls, a tombola, a raffle and entertainment.

Mathew Bowden, manager of the Mill Rd home said: “We are hoping for a good turn out from our local community to join the residents, our staff, friends and family.

“We are using the event to raise funds for a sensory garden   for our 71 residents. The garden will include a range of things to stimulate the senses from bright coloured flowers and aromatic herbs through to soothing sounds such as running water and wind chimes. “

The event will begin at 3pm on April 9th and run throughout the afternoon. All are welcome.
