Residents, relatives and staff at Heavers Court held an indoor street party on Saturday 2nd June, to celebrate Queen`s Diamond Jubilee.
Earlier, they had decorated the home with flags, crowns, garlands, banners and photographs of the Queen.
Reminiscence sessions were held with residents using a book titled `The Queen`s Jubilee’, which has pictures of events over the years.
The fundraising committee provided plates, cups, union jack tablecloths and serviettes, red, white and blue garlands and bowler hats to wear.

The National Anthem was played during the cake cutting ceremony by two
Residents -Mavis and Violet.
Everyone at the party wore something jubilee themed from hats, crowns, and dresses to wigs or union jack wrapped round them!
During lunch, residents were entertained with old time music by Martin son of one of the residents. After lunch there was non-stop dancing and games like musical chairs and pass the balloon.
